Barbara Farley Receives CISR Designation

The designation of Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) has been conferred upon Barbara Farley, Senior Account Executive at Elliot Whittier Insurance Services, LLC.
“This designation recognizes Barbara’s successful completion of quite an intense variety of insurance courses, which are followed by a series of extensive examinations,” stated Elliot Whittier CEO Steve Roy, who added “ we encourage and applaud staff who seek continuing education and designations in our industry. Continuing education ensures that our staff will remain up-to-date on important changes and trends in insurance related issues that can affect our clients. We now have a total of 13 employees with professional designations, and that is something we are very proud of.”
The CISR designation is awarded by the Society of CISR, a not-for-profit organization and member of The National Alliance for Insurance Education & Research, the nation’s premier provider of insurance
and risk management education.
Barbara has been employed in the insurance industry since 1978. She obtained her Bachelor of Science degree here in Massachusetts and after years in Vermont, Maine, New York and California, returned to Massachusetts in 2003, where she continues to enjoy the daily challenges and rewards of her insurance career.
