Free child car seat inspections

On Saturday September 18th, with the cooperation of the Winthrop Police Department, free Car Seat Inspections will be held at the Elliot Whittier Insurance Winthrop location at 12 Revere Street for interested parties.

“The inspections will be performed by Police Officer Steven Acone, who has undergone 40 hours of intensive instruction in order to receive the proper certification. This will be the third year that Officer Acone has performed this service at our location, and it’s been very well received. It gives parents and caregivers a level of comfort when they know their children are safe. We are very grateful for the cooperation of the Winthrop Police Department as well.” said Elliot Whittier CEO, Steve Roy.

If you have an infant or child car seat installed in your vehicle and you want to make sure it is installed safely you are invited to attend this event which will take place between the hours of 10 AM and 2 PM on Saturday September 18th at the Elliot Whittier parking lot. There will also be free surprises for the kids.
